Our bermuda pallets contain 50 square yards of sod (450 square feet). With Zoysia and Fescue pallets containing 40 square yards (360 square feet). Call us about our big rolls. They are 24 inches wide and 117.5 feet long containing 25 square yards. Our rolls are smaller than most in the Memphis area, making them easier to handle on the job sight. We have some equipment for installation here at the farm. Sod Varieties Tifway 419 Bermuda - A vegetatively planted hybrid bermuda with specific application on athletic fields and golf course fairways. Tifway makes a wonderful lawn. Somewhat finer in texture than common bermuda, Tifway has a dark blue green color when properly fertilized. Tifgreen 328 Bermuda - A vegetatively planted hybrid bermuda used on golf greens. It makes a fine lawn. It has a very fine leaf blade and is a greener green than the Tifway. Myer Z-52 Zoysia - It is a vegetatively planted zoysia that is courser in texture than Emerald and finer than Zoysia japonica. Zoysia is a sun loving grass that will take more shade than bermuda. It is slow growing and courser than our bermudas. It has good cold tolerance. Turf Type Tall Fescue - It is a seeded blend of tall fescues. Tall fescue is a non-running cool season grass. Since it grows in the spring and fall when the leaves are off the trees, it is the best choice for shade in the Memphis area. The heat and humidity of summer is a challenge to it and requires thorough watering throughout the summer months. Registered/Certified Tifway Bermuda - This grass is grown for breeder stock and under the guideline if the Tennessee Crop Improvement Association to be true to type and free of troublesome weeds. It is a nonproprietary bermuda used for our plantings and discriminating customers.
